Country Work
ATF’s (Abdul Aziz Thalassemia Foundation) organizes a series of capacity-building workshops, training programmes, and stakeholder engagement activities with the objective of strengthening patient and parent support groups across Pakistan, enhancing collaboration between healthcare professionals, government institutions, civil society organizations, and other relevant stakeholders, and promoting improved standards of care for individuals living with thalassemia.
Through these initiatives, ATF’s seeks to build the knowledge, skills, and leadership capacity of patients, families, volunteers, and healthcare providers, while supporting the development and implementation of effective thalassemia prevention, awareness, screening, and clinical management programmes throughout the country.
By fostering cooperation and sharing best practices among key stakeholders, ATF’s aims to contribute to a stronger national response to thalassemia and to improve the quality of life and healthcare outcomes of affected individuals and their families across Pakistan.
